Summary
The Shariant platform enables sharing of variant classifications and structured evidence between Australian and New Zealand diagnostic laboratories. To inform the design of Shariant’s somatic expansion, we conducted a survey of Australasian diagnostic laboratories performing somatic testing to capture current scope, curation, reporting, and sharing practices. We will present the key findings from this survey and describe how they have informed the somatic features delivered and planned in Shariant.
