University of Sydney Short Course in Genomics open for trainees and genomic mainstreaming
The University of Sydney is pleased to announce that enrolments are now open for the 2026 Genomics and Precision Medicine Short Course.
This fully online, 8-week program (10 August – 28 September) combines a 2-week Genomics Essentials module with a 6-week case-based course, designed to provide practical, clinically relevant genomics training. The course was launched in 2025 with excellent feedback and is RACP pre-approved for genetics training.
Key highlights:
- Updated genomics content with expanded interactive learning
- Strong clinical focus, including interpretation of genomic results and patient management
- Suitable for genetics trainees and clinicians seeking to rapidly upskill
- Competitive pricing for trainees ($1,695)
This course also serves as an excellent mainstreaming opportunity for non-genetics colleagues interested in genomics and precision medicine.
