We hope 2024 has started well for all of you! In planning your year ahead, we just wanted to personally invite you to our upcoming International Clinical Cardiovascular Genetics Meeting (ICG 2024) on May 8-10, 2024 in Brisbane.
Held every two years starting in 2014, this year’s meeting promises to be the best ever! We have 2 two headline international speakers – Dr Christine Seidman (USA) and Dr Elijah Behr (UK), along with a stellar national faculty!
A key theme of the meeting relates to the rapidly growing impact of genetics in cardiology practice, resulting in more precise diagnosis, guiding therapies, informing prognosis, screening families, and influencing reproduction decisions.
This meeting has always been a great learning experience, but is also lots of fun, and brings together a vast multidisciplinary audience, including cardiologists, geneticists, nurses, genetic counsellors, and researchers.
It is also a great meeting for students, early career researchers, trainees, fellows etc. as they can submit and present abstracts on a much broader range of topics than most meetings, such as instructive case reports, development of methods, establishments of cohorts or registries, and abstracts presenting preliminary data.
